Catherine Ashton "hopes to get the first chance to meet with Serbian and Kosovo representatives next week in New York”, a European diplomat said. In a joint resolution of the EU and Serbia, passed on September 9 by the UN General Assembly, Belgrade and Pristina were invited to initiate a "dialog".
