The FBI has arrested a pedophile priest from New Jersey based on information on an internet pedophile ring uncovered by the Serbian Interior Ministry. It was added that Carlino introduced himself via the fake accounts as a “13-year-old girl, a woman and a 25-year-old mother.” MUP “uncovered that Carlino, who is a priest in the small town of Malaga, was in charge of a ‘Children’s Church’, which meant that he came into contact with small children every day.” According to the Gloucester County Times, the FBI arrested Carlino based on information received from the Serbian Interior Ministry.” “During a search of his home, police found child pornography, whose existence MUP had suspected, as well as other evidence,” according to the statement. Carlino, who is married with a small child, admitted to all the allegations, adding that he had done it to get easier access to child pornography, which he had become addicted to, stated the Serbian police.

Serbian MUP stated that they “were able to identify one of the most active members of the group—Robert Kevin Carlino, from the state of New Jersey.”

The U.S. court authorities received the operative police material from MUP, and, on February 18, 2009, began an investigation of their own, which ended in Carlino’s arrest.
