Serbian president's and prime minister's Christmas greetings

President Aleksandar Vucic has wished a happy <a href="https://www.b92.net/eng/news/society.php?yyyy=2019&mm=01&dd=07&nav_id=105924" class="text-link" target= "_blank">Christmas</a> to Serbian Orthodox Church Patriarch Irinej and all believers who celebrate the holiday on January 7.

Serbian president's and prime minister's Christmas greetings

"With the desire that you spend the holidays in good health, well-being and personal progress, I greet you with the traditional greeting: Peace from God, Christ is born! Happy and blessed New Year!."

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic also wished a merry Christmas to Serbian Patriarch Irinej, the clergy and all believers celebrating this holiday according to the Julian calendar.

"In the time of great challenges for our country, I wish this holiday brings a strong faith in communion and solidarity, so together we can build a better and secure future for all. I want you to spend the most joyous Christian holiday in peace, health and love, in the family circle, with friends and everything that fills you," Brnabic wrote, and concluded her message with the greeting,

"Peace from God, Christ is born."
