Interior Minister Johanna Mikl-Leitner said that in the future "applications will be accepted only from those that we have to." An example of this are persons facing threats to safety in a neighboring country they transited, the agency reported.Austria already tightened measures FOR reception of refugees and supported the closing of the Balkans route. The country set a limit of 37,500 asylum applications for this year after receiving nearly 90,000 in 2015.
