EULEX head Yves de Kermabon has embarked on a several-day long visit to Kosovo. Late Saturday in Pristina, he said that the EU mission, EULEX, will not begin operating on June 15, as originally planned, and underlined that the mission was "strictly in the European Union's jurisdiction". The French officials began his visit by touring Klina where, as the media in Pristina reported today, he reiterated that the delay in the deployment of the European Union mission in Kosovo was due to "political reasons".
