The minister "thanked for the excellent cooperation and overall support provided by the International Organization for Migration to the Government of the Republic of Serbia during the migration crisis in providing humane conditions for the stay of migrants in our country."

Auweraert "praised the policy of the Serbian government towards migrants and stressed that Serbia is an example of a responsible and humane approach to the problem, and that although it is not a full member of the European Union, Serbia properly promotes European values."

Djordjevic said that his ministry was preparing "a number of new projects and platforms, whose aim is further support to the vulnerable categories of migrants, in particular to children."
