The state team of 25 members set out to Vienna to attend the final round of talks on Kosovo.

Belgrade team travels to Vienna

The prime minister's and president's advisers Aleksandar Simić,  Dušan Bataković, Dušan Spasojević, and Kosovo Coordination center chairwoman Sanda Rašković-Ivić are also on board alongside Marko Jakšić, head of the Community of Serb Municipalities in Kosovo, Goran Bogdanović, representative of the Serbian ticket for Kosovo, and Thomas Fleiner, permanent adviser to the team.

The expert part of the team includes Saša Stanković from the Military Geographic Institute, Gordana Marković, director of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments and economy experts Boško Mijatović and Boris Begović.

Bishops of the Serb Orthodox Church Irinej, Teodosije and Artemije have also headed out to Vienna as members of the Belgrade negotiating team.

The UN Special Kosovo Envoy's Office announced that the first round of the final talks was set to begin on February 21 and last through March 2.

The closing round is expected to begin on March 10 followed by the completion of Martti Ahtisaari’s plan for the final status of the province which will then be put before the UN Security Council.
