Bikers in Kosovo for humanitarian action

Some 1,500 bikers from Serbia and abroad arrived to northern Kosovska Mitrovica for a humanitarian event for children without parents in Kosovo.

Some 1,500 bikers from Serbia and abroad arrived to northern Kosovska Mitrovica for a humanitarian event for children without parents in Kosovo. The motorists were greeted by a large number of residents, who later followed the bikers to a main city square, where a rock concert was held. Bikers in Kosovo for humanitarian action Many local rock stars participated in the concert, including Bora Djordjevic of Riblja Corba, Yu Grupa, Sladjana Milosevic, and Dado Topic of Time. President of the Belgrade Harley Davidson club, who is also the organizer of the humanitarian event, Milic Radevic, said that the bikers will be visiting a children’s facility in Kosovska Mitrovica and will begin an action to help these children get an education. “Our arrival confirms how much Kosovo means to us and how much we love our holy land,” Radevic said. “I believe that what these bikers and rockers are doing represents a form of concrete support to the Serbs in Kosovo, to let them know that they have not been abandoned and sold,” singer Djordjevic said. The “Bike Rock Mission” was also helped by NIS, which secured free gas for the group of about 1,500 bikers, which included several Russian citizens who work in NIS.
