"We have defined our relations precisely and also the plan for these relations. We have divided them into two groups - issues from the past and issues which should take us further,” he told the Belgrade-based broadcaster.Pusić underlined that the interest of Balkan countries is related to economy, transportation and attraction of investments through improvement of economic relations and living standards in Serbia and Croatia.
“We will address the problems that refer to the past or the European future, but there will always be new ones,” she said.
The two ministers also discussed Bosnia-Herzegovina, the European perspectives of southeastern Europe and reflection of the crises in Ukraine and the Middle East on the region.
“It is crucial for us that Bosnia-Herzegovina is stable and that solutions are being sought since it is in our interest that Bosnia-Herzegovina becomes part of the EU,” Dačić underlined.
Pusić believes that the EU should take a proactive approach to Bosnia-Herzegovina, but underlined that true willingness should come from within Bosnia-Herzegovina.
"The region is Germany's new interest. This topic should be kept on the EU agenda together with the issue of southern neighbors as well as the matters relating to Iraq, Libya and Syria, hotbeds of political crisis. No matter the complexity of the problems here, they can be solved by the EU. The problems relating to Syria and Iraq will not be solved by the EU, it will take the entire world to do that, but the Union can solve the issues relating to Europe and the western Balkans," Pusić said.
