Bosnian leaders agree on reforms
The leaders of the three major parties in Bosnia-Herzegovina today reached an agreement on how to proceed with constitutional reforms.

The leaders of the three major parties in Bosnia-Herzegovina today reached an agreement on how to proceed with constitutional reforms. Milorad Dodik, SNSD, Sulejman Tihic, SDA, and Dragan Covic, HDZ BiH, on behalf of this country's Serbs, Muslims and Croats respectively, met in Odzaci on Saturaday. Bosnian leaders agree on reforms They said after the meeting that the reforms should in the future pertain to harmonizing the Bosnian constitution with the European Convention on Human Rights, the state's jurisdiction, Bosnian institutions' functioning, territorial organization, especially on the mid-level of government. The leaders also agreed that the constitution should be changed through amendments, and that international institutions should be asked for expert assistance in that process. The issue of state owned assets should be solved by recording all immobile property needed for the institutions' functioning as property of state, "including perspective mobile and immobile military property". Dodik, Tihic and Covic also agreed that a population census should be conducted in Bosnia in 2011, after a corresponding law has been adopted. The census should allow the citizens' to declare themselves on their ethnicity, religion and language, but that the census conducted in 1991 should, until 2014, be the basis of job distribution, based on ethnicity.
