Unknown perpetrators have demolished a pumping station that supplies water to the Serb returnee village of Grabovac in the Kosovo municipality of Klina.

KLINA Unknown perpetrators have demolished a pumping station that supplies water to the Serb returnee village of Grabovac in the Kosovo municipality of Klina. The perpetrators also stole a water pump, Radio Gorazdevac has reported. The incident was reported to the police who came to the scene. The villagers believe this was the act of ethnic Albanians who have been robbing the few Serb returnee families for quite some time. "This is not the first time the village water pump has been stolen, it has happened a few times, returnee homes have been attacked and two years ago our tractor was stolen. The perpetrators were not found in any of these crimes," said village representative Radonja Magic. He told Radio Gorazdevac he was afraid Serbs would not be able to stay in the village under such conditions. Two weeks ago a water pump was stolen in another returnee village, Opraske, while in the village of Klinavac hay was set on fire in the yard of returnee Jovo Vidic.
