The municipal boards of the DS, G17 Plus and the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) have decided to form a new coalition in Pozarevac, B92 understands. The municipal board presidents did not wish to comment last night on the decisions taken, adding that a public statement would be made today. DS, SPS teaming up in Pozarevac The coalition agreement is due to be signed by the end of the week. Talks on the new coalition in Pozarevac with 41 of the 68 councilors intensified a fortnight ago. The decision, taken unanimously, evidences the Socialists plans to end cooperation with the Serb Radical Party (SRS) and the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), with whom they have held power since June 2 this year. B92 understands from the Democratic Party (DS) that the Pozarevac assembly’s founding session is due to be held next week. The DS’s Miodrag Milosavljevic will take over from the SRS’s Sasa Valjarevic as the town’s new mayor.
