Swine flu count: 15

According to the Torlak Institute, there have so far been 15 confirmed cases of the A H1N1 virus, better known as swine flu, in Serbia.

According to the Torlak Institute, there have so far been 15 confirmed cases of the A H1N1 virus, better known as swine flu, in Serbia. The Serbian Public Health Institute’s website states that the most recent confirmed case was registered in an individual from Belgrade who had arrived from Australia, and that “a further three likely cases of the infection“ have been registered. Swine flu count: 15 The people in question have advanced symptoms of the flu and came into contact with confirmed cases, though lab confirmation has still to arrive. It adds that all confirmed cases of swine flu have been “imported.“ 13 people arrived in Serbia from countries where the virus had already been registered—Argentina, Australia, Canada, the UK and the US—while two of the cases were in contact with the Montenegrin sufferer. The Serbian cases have been recorded in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Sombor, Nis, Srbobran and Nova Pazova.
