In "surprising and unique" move Slovenian spies go on strike

The US agency quoted Slovenia's Public Administration Minister Boris Koprivnikar as describing the strike as "surprising and unique."

Koprivnikar also said that intelligence officers in his country are "required by law to ensure the basic functioning of the agency to protect national security."

Slovenian media said the protest started on Wednesday, and that the strikers - whose number is unknown - complain that they are "understaffed and underpaid."
