Haradinaj denies he is crime boss who smuggles weapons

According to him, they are "always active when someone obstructs their influence in Kosovo."

According to the Albanian language newspaper Lajmi, Haradinaj wrote that "the criminal associations" are targeting "himself, his family, and the political organization that he heads."

This time, he continued, they do it "science fiction-style, fabricating stories about weapons smuggling" and claiming that he is at the helm of such activities.

The Belgrade-based daily Blic on Monday reported that the former KLA leader and former Kosovo prime minister was the boss of one of the biggest crime clans in Kosovo, and that he has been "smuggling weapons through Serbia for years."
