BELGRADE The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) leader says PM Ivica Dacic should resign because of “harmful decisions that are pushing Serbia deeper into the crisis“. Vojislav Kostunica believes that the Serbian officials should not have meetings with those who unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo. DSS leader calls on PM Dacic to resign “It would not cost us anything to freeze the Kosovo issue, except that the European integration would be suspended. This suspension is in Serbia’s deepest interest for many reasons because the EU integration is just another name for blackmails and pressures on Serbia,” he told daily Danas. “Serbia’s future is in political neutrality,” Kostunica was quoted as saying. He added that the Constitutional Court of Serbia President Dragisa Slijepcevic should also resign because he had suspended a proceeding aimed at assessing constitutionality of certain government regulations. “By announcing that the assessment of the constitutionality of the government regulations will be suspended, the Constitutional Court of Serbia has shown the public that it is not a real court that protects the Constitution but a group of obedient public servants who act on the government’s orders,” the DSS leader concluded.
