Serbian parliament Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic says Serbia has met all the conditions for the EU candidate status. She added that a decision to ban all public gatherings scheduled for the weekend, including the Pride Parade, would have no influence on Brussels' decision. The Serbian Interior Ministry on Friday banned all public gatherings that are considered to entail higher security risks this weekend in Belgrade. Djukic-Dejanovic does not believe that organization of the Pride Parade was set as a condition for other countries on their EU paths either, and the ban regarding the gathering should not affect the country's prospects for obtaining the EU candidate status.
