The opposition Serb Radicals (SRS) believes Serbia should immediately stop talks related to its EU candidacy bid, and turn to the country's traditional allies. High-ranking SRS official Vjerica Radeta told a news conference in Belgrade today that NATO was sending forces to help the Kosovo Albanian authorities take control of the northern part of the province, and round off the so-called state of Kosovo. Noting that 16 years ago more than 200,000 Serbs were forced to leave their homes in Croatia, Radeta said Tadic failed to solve some of the key problems that plague the exiled Serbs, despite his "warm and friendly" relations with Croatian President Ivo Josipovic. "There's no need to even talk about the danger faced by every Serb in Croatia, but that goes not only for the exiled Serbs, but also those who go and leave their money in Croatian resorts," Radeta concluded.
