We too have BMW and Benz cars but on May 9 you will be surprised to see what is written on them. Folks write На Берлин ! or T-34 or Спасибо деду за победу ! Id est. having a German car does not mean being a Nazi. I too have a Lexus car but I am not going to be a Japanese. I have some cloths by Hugo Boss who had designed the SS uniform but it also means nothing cause inside I do not stop to be a Russian. So we can enjoy everything the world provides but we should not stop to be sons of our fathers ! What I really liked in your comment was :

1. You never found a European head of state who had not kissed the ass of Adolf Hitler before September 1939. All but Joseph Stalin had done it. Before 1939 we were the only opposition to the Nazi. But when it became evident that they are canalizing Hitler eastward we signed the brilliant Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact and gained few months to rearm the Mighty Army of ours.
2. You were unable to find a man greater than Uncle Joe. Before we lived in the world scheduled by this great man we were in peace and comparative wellness. All were ruined with the Cold War. Some people gained temporary advantages and some lost. We and the Serbians lost most of all and this is why we are sometimes so radical. Europe as a whole has lost much.

Cheers !

@ Niall - you are exactly right. China is gonna own all of us one day. I'm sure everyone will be happy when they strip the Saborna Crkva, Sveti Sava, and Sveti Marko of all their lovely ikons and other religious decorationa and open us museums to the People's Struggle Against the Paper Tigers and Running Dogs of Capitalism and the Opiate of the People.

@ Rote Kapelle - Yes, I agree with you, and that's part of my point. The Germans and their puppet state henchmen (I'm looking at you, Croatia) and friends (that's you Italy, Albania, and Romania) did murder hundreds of thousands of Serbs. So why then does everyone in Serbia own or want to own a VW/Mercedes/Audi/Porsche/Dacia/FIAT? If Russia and China are your friends, then all Serbs should destroy their western cars and buy Lada and Cherys. Also burn all of the Hugo Boss/Armani/D&G/Versace/Prada that you hypocrites love so much and buy only Serbian made clothes (there is a lot of it - TFY, St. George, Afrodite Mode Collection, Mona, Beko, Labrador shoes...) or stuff made by Chinese are Russina designers (stuff made for Armani in China doesn't count because all of that money goes back to Italy). Oh and while the Russian Orthodox Chruch may have bleesed the Red Army, Stalin showed his gratitude by destroying churches and imprisoning, torturing, and murdering Russian Orthodox preists. A great man indeed.

And just who are Serbia's traditional allies? JAT's fleet is made up of American and Itlaian/Franch airplanes, ŽS's locomotives and Beovoz's train sets were either built by or licensed from Hungarian, Swedish, American, Spanish, and Latvian manufacturers (Beovoz trains were purchased in 1995, after Latvia left the Soviet Union). Zastava was essentially built by Italy's FIAT, FAP trucks were/are based on Swiss Saurer and German Mercedes designs, the axles of Ikarbus busses are from Hungary's Ràba, Belgrade trams are from Czech CKD (and the new ones are from Spain), the Serbian Air Force's Gazelle helicopters are a French design, and Hilander monastery is in Greece. If I recall correctly nurses from the British empire came to help Serbia during World War I (both Mladenovac and Kragujevac have monuments to these nurses). Most Serbs shop at Belgian, Slovenian, or Croatian-owned supermarkets, wear Itlaina and Spanish fashions, drive German, Italian, and French cars cars, and put their cash into Austrian, Italian, French, or, heaven forbid, Greek-owned banks. Maybe I'm just stupid or something but it appears that most of these countries are in the EU, NATO, or both... OK, OK, the Serbian Air Force's MiG-21s and 29s are Russian (actually built by the atheist anti-Orthodox Soviet Union since they were acquired in 1987), and Belgrade's shiny new red trolleybusses are from Belarus. And remember, the Stalinist, atheist, anti-Christian Red Army "liberated" Belgrade, only to try to impose an equally Stalinst totalitarian, atheist, anti-Christian dictatorship. So the truth is either, traditionally, Serbia has lots of traditional allies, or no friends at all.

You summed up Belgrade's predicament to a tee. Serbia, 2 feet in both camps. 1 foot in the West (EU/US) the other in the BRIC (Brazil/Russia/India/China).

The current political leadership in Belgrade hasn't the foggiest which side to put the chips on, however with the current economic uncertainty, a betting man would be looking East.

Good market research of what Serbs wear and drive. You forgot to mention that Stuttgart people had built not only Benz cars but they also killed 1 700 000 Yugoslavians mostly Serbs. You forgot to mention that Ferdinand Porsche used to be Hitler’s best friend to build Tiger , Panther and Ferdinand tanks. You also forgot that all the countries you mentioned killed or helped to kill Serbs in 1999 and supported óìêí rival of Serbia. You also forgot that you must be alive today only thanks to the “anti-Christian Red Army” you are spitting at now. And if you want to know the Soviet Army which saved Europe including UK , France , Hague Tribunal place ect. had been blessed by the Saint Russian Orthodox Church.

We “liberated” Belgrade” and left some 8000 of our beloved men and women not to let you bark but because it was the logic of the war and because we ment to cut the Brits off the Balkans. As for Stalin he was a great man nobody can compare with in the 20-th century. Before 1939 he was the only European leader who had not joined Hitler. All the rest were on Adolf’s side. If you find another exclusion tell me please and we shall laugh together. Russia including Ukraine and Belorussia , Greece , Montenegro are the traditional allies of Serbia. So best if our brothers stop to buy tickets to the sinking ship and look eastward where the sun rises.

Serbia should turn to new allies like China. I want to see Asian troops in the Balkans (europe) for the first time since Genghis Khan. I want to see western europe wetting their pants.
