Croatia is still not ready to enter the EU, Dutch Minister of European Affairs Frans Timmermans told a Dutch daily today. Timmermans said that he did “not completely agree” with EU Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn, who said after November’s European Commission meeting that Croatia could begin accession talks with the EU next year, Dutch daily Handelsblad reported. Holland: Croatia unready for EU Timmermans said that Croatia, like Serbia, still had to achieve fully cooperation with the Hague Tribunal. "What we’ve noticed recently in that area has been concerning,” the Dutch minister said.
