Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) leader Ivica Dacic on Thursday received a mandate to form the country's new government from Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic. Nikolic told a press conference after the meeting with the SPS leader, that the SPS-led coalition had informed him that it had the parliamentary majority. SPS leader gets mandate to form government “The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and the United Regions of Serbia (URS) will be in the majority and probably some representatives of minorities in the Serbian parliament who are waiting for the coalition to secure the majority,” the president explained.
