A further investigation into illegal organ transplants at the Medicus private clinic in Pristina has been launched by international prosecutors in Kosovo. Kosovo Police Service (KPS) spokesman Veton Elshani told Tanjug that four people had been arrested and remanded in custody for 30 days, adding that the case had been referred to international prosecutors and would be investigated by a joint team of KPS and international police. The KPS have arrested three ethnic Albanians and one Turkey national suspected of involvement in organ harvesting in Pristina. They include urologists Lutfi Dervishi and Tun Pervorfi and clinic manager Arben Dervishi. The police are still searching for Yusuf S., another Turkish national who participated in the transplant.
