Jakšić also says that Ahtisaari’s proposal will not be the final solution and believes that the final decision on the province will take into account Belgrade’s position.“The proposal must go before the UN Security Council, it is not definitive since Russia and China will likely not agree with any proposals that are not in the interests of Belgrade and Priština, Belgrade in particular. Unfavorable proposals will certainly radicalize the political scene in the country“, Jakšić says.
