The audience in New York will have an opportunity to visit an exhibition dubbed "Serbia - Frequently Asked Questions", said reports. The purpose is for those interested to be acquainted with the responses of contemporary Serbian artists to universal questions related to the general political and economic situation in the world, said organizers. Serbia-FAQ exhibition in New York Curator Branislav Dimitrijevic from Belgrade and Andreas Stadler, the director of the Austrian Cultural Forum (ACF) in New York where the exhibition will be staged for four months as of Wednesday, announced that the show will involve 20 artists presenting their works. Apart from the Serbian artists, other exhibitors come from Austria, Romania, Turkey, England, Albania, Croatia, Slovenia and Greece, and they are related to the Serbian arts scene in one way or another. Dimitrijevic told Tanjug that this will be a contemporary art perspective of how others see us and what they can ask us, particularly given the notorious image that Serbia has had over the last two decades, adding that "stereotypes are created, but they are also dissolved".
