Those American that know where Serbia is, will propably be asking about war in ex Jugoslavia and why Serbian Leaders commited crimes against humanity. What was the reason the Milloshevic was full of hate and why why the actual Serbian government doe's arrest Ratko Mladic. I hope your representatives will give the right answear.

Milan, you are biased. Much like Michael Moores films, that film had an agenda and filmed it in a way to promote it.
I agree that many AMericans do not know where Serbia is, but many do. Many Serbians have trouble placing all the African countries on a map of Africa also. It is all relative to what influences a persons life. Unfortunately, what America does has an impact on Serbia, so Serbians know about AMerica, but what Serbia does has little to no impact on the daily lives of Americans so they do not get news feeds or information about Serbia.
Same thing with Afirca, or Laos. What Togo does has little impact on Serbs so they do not know a lot about Togo.
Lots of TV shows in AMerica try to portray the average person on the street as possibly being ignorant, but they intervoew hundreds and select the few who gave truly stupid answers, after being asked under camera and a microphone in their face.
Basically, I agree that the average American may not know the population of Serbia, but they will know it is in Europe, part of former Yugoslavia and even probably name a few of its fmous citizens including Tesla and a few NBA players or Tennis players, probably not Water Polo though.

Considering the average education system in the US (I know it is a metaphoric mirror image of the society: a few absolutely briljant schools ("the rich") and many extremely bad (inner city) schools ("the poor")) and the general lack of news from outside the US the two most common questions asked will be: what is Serbia? and (for the few that know it is a country) where is it located? For all out there who think I am making this up or that I am very biased, please check out the following link.
