BELGRADE Serbia's Minister without Portfolio responsible for Kosovo and Metohija Aleksandar Vulin will not be able to visit Kosovo and Metohija on Thursday. "The interim government in Prstina once again refused to grant his request to visit the province," the Office for Kosovo and Metohija said in a statement. Vulin again banned from traveling to Kosovo Vulin was scheduled to speak to residents of Pasjane and the village Budriga in the northeast of the province, and visit a local agricultural cooperative, an outpatient department, a primary school and a factory. During the electoral campaign for the recent local polls in Kosovo and Metohija, the Pristina authorities on several occasions banned Vulin from visiting the province. The latest ban is the second imposed this week. "Pristina is doing everything to cause some kind of crisis, so that Serbia would be guilty of some action or inaction," Vulin commented on the latest ban. He told RTS on Thursday that he was prevented from traveling to Pasjan and Budriga because local elections would be repeated in Pasjan. "That is true, but two weeks ago when I was in (Kosovska) Mitrovica elections were also repeated there," he said. Vulin also said that "all this violence in Kosovo" was happening because of the repeated elections, but also because of the continued dialogue in Brussels on Friday, on which the decision of the European Council about the date of the first intergovernmental conference will depend. "The Brussels agreement is very clear - a new network of courts, that is our compromise and we can agree to that," he said, and added that "Pristina continues with sabotage," and that "every time a decision was made in Serbia's favor, Pristina's reaction would follow."
