Kind of wrong about it bothering me what some rogue person decides to "reveal". As far as credible, when you have to say well this could have been possible so what he says could be true.
Sorry but you are dead wrong on the 50s to 70s comment, I had a part time job in a retail store during high school and first year in college, I know what people made, for a 18 year old it was good money for dates and getting the first car etc, but none of the people I worked with could have fed their family and paid everything on a one income family.
It is the same today. These are unskilled positions they will never be high paying jobs. But the bottom line is IF Walmart raised their across the board wages to double then suddenly the prices for everything at Walmart would skyrocket. Others would have to pay more so people could buy basics, then suddenly that $15 buys no more than the 7.25 does today.
As far as paying retribution. There would be no payout for building anything at Bondsteel the contract allows the US to use the land however.
As far as the myth of the mines being the reason. There has been no movement at all in that direction, and deals worked through UNMIK would go to Kosovo which would have been normal as you see no compensation is being paid to Serbia for anything on the Kosovo side of the border.
There will always be Srebrenica deniers does not make them credible nor does it really change peoples belief in the facts.

….” are clerks and stockers working part time in shops an stores are considered to be the economically elite’.
Yes from the US from 1950s up to 1970s. Not today. Ask people who work in Walmart at $7.25 per hour. Your middle class is vanishing before your eyes. You have 1% of the population holding 90% of the stock market.

“….economics course you took is that if you raise the wages of the lowest tier of workers..”
I’d through away that text book because no one in history has experienced what is going on in the west today.
It does not matter whether he was in Bosnia at that time particular time. He still had contacts with other agents and his boss would attend meetings to plan such an event (a coordinated propaganda attack once the “massacre’ in Srebrenica took place).
But I think what really bothers you is that someone like Baer, a very credible former western intelligence officer, making such claims that even corroborates the information the Serbs have been releasing.
“… done something then when Russia was too weak to provide water to their troops.”
This is why I have problems discussing issues such as these with people that have no idea what is involved. If the US did that then down the track they would have to pay compensation – ask the Russians why in the 1990s they had to pay for land and infrastructure confiscated by the communists in 1917???

Walmart asking employees to donate food for Christmas to be distributed to other poorer employees – great country mate. Keep up the good work.
(sj, 16 December 2013 11:51) Thanks, it is a great country, I thank God everyday that I have the opportunity to live here. It is not perfect and a lot of things I do not like, but still far better than I have seen in my travels. By the way how many countries are clerks and stockers working part time in shops an stores are considered to be the economically elite. In your lifes travels how many countries have you been to that people working in restaurants leave in their Mercedes an drive home to their mansions. Why would you expect it to be different in the US?
A little fact they probably did not teach in that economics course you took is that if you raise the wages of the lowest tier of workers it will just spread up the other rungs on the ladder so that they are still on the bottom
You missed the purpose of the dates entirely while you were doing your usual and changing the subject. IF he WAS in Bosnia from 91-94 and in Iraq in 95 then he was not even in the Balkans a month before Srebrenica.
The world was different in 99, if the US was there for the mines and base, they could have done something then when Russia was too weak to provide water to their troops. The truth is no landing strip was ever planned for Bondsteel, I have been there something I am sure you were not.

“.... article says he was there from 1991 to 1994 and as part of that mission he was told by his boss a month before Srebrenica that it was going to happen”.
The wartime chief of police for Srebrenica (a Muslim) has been interviewed several times where he stated Alija Izetbagovic wanted a mass killing carried out to force the Serbs to negotiate.
So what if Baer’s boss told him one month before Srebrenica occurred? These people know what is going on – they all work for the one organisation.
“...........Kosovo happened for the mineral mines and to open the largest military base. This being 2 years after he left the CIA. “
Do you think for one moment that Baer does not still have contacts in the CIA today?

“... time, money and resources for those 2 goals and yet 14 years later nothing has happened with the mines, a base where acreage makes it the largest but yet it houses less than 1500 soldiers and has never had a landing strip.”

They can’t put a shovel in the ground until there is agreement with Belgrade; that is why nothing has happened.
The base was to be permanent with an airfield but money is a big problem. As I said to another Albanian posting “watch the outcome in Ukraine – if the west wins then Serbia loses Kosovo no questions at all, but if Russia wins then Serbia is back. Roll the dice and let’s see who wins.

Reading up on Baer was very interesting and entertaining as your comments are.
A couple of questions that immediately come to mind is in his biography it is never mentioned of his time in Bosnia. However, the article says he was there from 1991 to 1994 and as part of that mission he was told by his boss a month before Srebrenica that it was going to happen. The Srebrenica massacre happened in July of 1995, while he was verifiably deeply involved in activities in Iraq.
I also read a quote where he supposedly said that Kosovo happened for the mineral mines and to open the largest military base. This being 2 years after he left the CIA. Interesting how he has validated the most popular of Serbian rumors trying to convince the world this had nothing to do with the oppression of Albanians in Kosovo. All this time, money and resources for those 2 goals and yet 14 years later nothing has happened with the mines, a base where acreage makes it the largest but yet it houses less than 1500 soldiers and has never had a landing strip.
Do I not get reminded on a routine basis not to believe everything I read, but yet it becomes gospel to you if it supports your agenda.

As far as I know Robertson was interviewed but it was not aired for political reasons, but parts of it have been quoted in print and I have got a hard copy of parts of the interview. Just like interviews of Robert Baer that have never been shown in the US – why? Because it does not suit your freedom loving government. However, Baer’s interviews are on the internet.
Or perhaps Baer is also a baseless rumour. I see demonstrations in the US seeking a “living wage” seeking an increase from $7.25/hour to $15/hour and Walmart asking employees to donate food for Christmas to be distributed to other poorer employees – great country mate. Keep up the good work.

None of this stuff was being said about Albanians back in the 80s.....
(Peggy, 12 December 2013 23:36)

Back in the 80s it was worst!!! Albanian nationalists, separatists, irredentist, chauvinist and even cannibalism was associated with Albanian people in daily bases by Serb leaders (not Croat,Slovenes or Bosnians) but Serbs serving in Serbia and the federation. The only difference is, back then in the 80s most KS Albanians were listening to your leaders, now, no-one gives a dam what you call us. Because your true colours and your intend towards KS Alb was obvious during 1989-99.
You can not lie to me!!! I lived the SRF Jugoslavia, while you?? Was eating the high protein content food of the west!

I do not know anything about David Gibbs nor have I heard of this person until now. That quote came from George Robertson himself during an interview with the BBC after he left his position in NATO. However, this was not made public at the time as it was too sensitive an issue – how could they broadcast that when the west helped the KLA.
Srebrenica is also called a hoax by one of your now retired CIA operative, Mr Robert Baer, who took part in creating this illusion. Now clean your ears and listen. Baer was a CIA man, not a Serb.
This is only a part what he said” Srebrenica is an exaggerated story”....”the numbers of people killed was part of political marketing”...:”one month before Srebrenica happened my boss told me the town would be known around the world”.
I’m glad i entertain you.

Because Kosovo i Metohija is militarily occupied by an external force. Something you could never do.
(Ari Gold, 13 December 2013 12:54)

that can't be possible. We all know that heroic Serbs would never allow that to happen to the cradle of Serbdom. In addition, as the CE of B92 forums sj has shown with brilliant analysis, that external force is all p... and wind, the West and America has collapsed and the only superpowers ruling the world are China, Russia and Serbia. So, in this context is really impossible for an external force to militarily occupy the cradle of Serbdom.

On this issue of Vulin not being allowed to enter Kosovo. I’m not sure what game his playing but it seems like a 17 century pastime of going into a mental asylum and poking sticks at the insane. Vulin comes and goes without even sending a note via pigeon express to Pristina.
(sj, 13 December 2013 10:53)
sj,
Missed you the last few days, I have had to rely on Ari Gold for my daily dose of unsupported dribble bs. He has achieved a high level threatening to topple you as the lead source of bs on B92.
You are right he does not send carrier pigeon but he does submit his request to EULEX which in turn couriers it over to Pristina and awaits an answer and then delivers it back to him. For this we have the words of EULEX, Albanians, UNMIK, and Serb authorities. IN contrast to this we have sj.
I did some research on the Lord Robertson quote you give and found that it all comes from a blog post by a David Gibbs with no substantiation of where it came from. No other such mention anywhere that cannot be traced back to his writing, a person who by the way is a denier of the Srebrenica genocide. I can see where you though would be a fan as he too says outrageous things without anything to support what he says. Ironic though is what the rest of the blog says as to it was actually the bombing that brought about the huge increase in Serb atrocities on the Albanian people in Kosovo.
Good to see you back entertaining us again.

No, actually all that was done off of the dime of Western tax-payers, which again proves the lack of independence.
(Ari Gold, 12 December 2013 17:54)

Ah, OK... So Kosovo is dependent on the West. Kosovars have no problem with that. All they care about is being independent from Serbia. But, I'm sure, they appreciate your concern for them not being independent from the West.
----------

if after 5+ years of lobbying and billions of aid you cannot achieve the very basic symbols of independence i.e. UN membership, representation at the Olympics, require the approval of the country you declared independence from to take part in international conference etc etc. then you are not an independent country under any stretch of the imagination.
(Ari Gold, 12 December 2013 17:54)

Serbia was independent since the 19th century and did just fine without those symbols of independence. Serbia's experience is good enough for Kosovo. Not to mention that Ukraine had the symbols of independence (i.e. UN membership) from 1945-1990, but was not really independent. So the symbols don't mean much.

really interesting. when did Belgrade give Prishtina the power to ban Serbian state officials? Serb generosity extends to many levels eh? I wonder what power Belgrade will cede next
(Nikolle, 12 December 2013 16:42)

Actually, yeah. But ask yourself this, why would your authorities if they had any say in any of this, would in their right minds allow officials from the country they declared independence from to be allowed into "their" territory? You know how many times Vulin showed up to Kosovo i Metohija in military uniforms? Cheap political ploy, I know. But why allow it? In fact, why allow any officials from any country that do not recognize your fake independence into "your" territory??

Because it doesn't really matter what your officials say. Thing is, Ian knows that too. You guys are blind in your KLA propaganda, but Ian knows full well that its NATO countries that are the guarantor of the occupation happening in Serbia's southern province.

But of course, all occupations end. If anyone reads history they would know that Kosovo i Metohija has been occupied by outside forces countless number of times. In the end, it always was liberated. We have to become better people first before any of that happens. We have to de-Titoize our society first because it is the root of all evil in Serbia. When that happens, we can talk about liberation.

Ari Gold

pre 10 godina

No, actually all that was done off of the dime of Western tax-payers, which again proves the lack of independence. So if its not the West twisting the arms of Serbian officials to concede certain things, its the West financing the KLA in their adventure for independence.

But again I stress, if you rely on an outside force to depend your "independence", if after 5+ years of lobbying and billions of aid you cannot achieve the very basic symbols of independence i.e. UN membership, representation at the Olympics, require the approval of the country you declared independence from to take part in international conference etc etc. then you are not an independent country under any stretch of the imagination.

It amazes me how many times Serbs throw out the democracy term when things like this come up. What does this have to do with a democracy, as that is a term that would involve how a govt deals with its own people not on subjects such as granting of approval of foreign govt officials visitation. If you are one of the deniers of Kosovo being an independent country, I would like to know 1st why you would use the term democracy in whether a non resident of the province is denied visitation to the province. In either case the Kosovo govt does not recognize his position as an official overseeing Kosovo.
If you had a democratic vote on whether Vulin could visit Kosovo I doubt that you could get a majority to say yes.

sj,
Missed you the last few days, I have had to rely on Ari Gold for my daily dose of unsupported dribble bs.

It's sad what your life has amounted to. Sometimes I wish to know the timeline of your life to understand what events got you to this position today. Anyway, Pristina has as much power as Belgrade decides to give them. It was Belgrade that decided to switch over the main mission in Kosovo i Metohija from UNMIK to EULEX, it was Belgrade that volunteered to soften a resolution which would have passed in the UN General Assembly concerning Kosovo i Metohija, it is Belgrade that tried to legitimize KLA terrorists by meeting with them.

Again, it baffles me how you have made it to B92 and what has trauma a Serb has caused you that you wish to be a mouth piece for Muslim terrorists, organ extractors and heroin traffickers..

The US daily denies visits of persons to the US and to date while some have criticized the practice, I don't know of anyone who uses it to question its democracy.

sj,
Missed you the last few days, I have had to rely on Ari Gold for my daily dose of unsupported dribble bs.

I truly love it, It was said by the person himself but was never made public, but you know it (and apparently David Gibbs). True to your history.
They do have a term for that it is called "baseless rumors"
