Session of the Government of the Republic of Srpska in Srebrenica; Flags hoisted
The session of the Government of Republika Srpska will be held today in Srebrenica, and will be attended by the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, ministers in the Council of Ministers of BiH, heads and mayors of the local communities.
The Government invited institutions and citizens to display the flags of Republika Srpska on the day of voting in the UN General Assembly and symbolically express their opposition to the intention of adopting the resolution on Srebrenica.
As reported by RTRS, Dodik announced that a peaceful separation will be proposed to the Federation of BiH from this session.
Previously, Srpska officials will lay flowers and wreaths at the Serbian cemetery in Bratunac.
Dodik's previously expressed willingness to visit and lay a wreath in Potočari with members of the Government was rejected.
The session of the UN General Assembly, where the proposed resolution on Srebrenica will be considered, will be held today in New York.
