Macedonia sends aid to quake town

The government of Macedonia, the city of Skopje and municipality of Gjorce Petrov have decided to send aid to the Serbian town of Kraljevo.

The government of Macedonia, the city of Skopje and municipality of Gjorce Petrov have decided to send aid to the Serbian town of Kraljevo. The town, hit by an earthquake in early November, will receive EUR 61.000 worth of aid, the Macedonian embassy in Belgrade released. Macedonia sends aid to quake town The news of the earthquake which hit Kraljevo was met in Macedonia with grief and heartfelt sympathy, the embassy noted in its statement today. "The Macedonian embassy welcomes the efforts which the citizens and the Serbian government are investing into the repairs of the damages caused by the earthquake. The embassy also expressed expectation that the aid from Macedonia will be promptly delivered to the most vulnerable Kraljevo residents," the embassy said.

The news of the earthquake which hit Kraljevo was met in Macedonia with grief and heartfelt sympathy, the embassy noted in its statement today.

"The Macedonian embassy welcomes the efforts which the citizens and the Serbian government are investing into the repairs of the damages caused by the earthquake. The embassy also expressed expectation that the aid from Macedonia will be promptly delivered to the most vulnerable Kraljevo residents," the embassy said.
