Novak Djokovic of Serbia on Wednesday advanced to the Wimbledon 2011 tennis tournament semifinals. The world no.2 defeated unseeded Australian Bernard Tomic 3-1 (6-2, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5). Djokovic through to Wimbledon semifinals Djokovic will play against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France in the semifinal match on Friday. Tsonga beat Swiss Roger Federer 3-6, 6-7 (3-7), 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. Djokovic will take the ATP list spot if he qualifies for the Grand Slam tournament's final. Meanwhile, Serbia's Nenad Zimonjic and Katarina Srebotnik of Slovenia advances to the third round of the mixed doubles competition. Đoković through to Wimbledon semifinals
