National Council for Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal President Rasim Ljajic says Serbia is using all resources to find Hague fugitive Goran Hadzic. He stressed that it was in Serbia’s best interest to put an end to the cooperation with the Hague Tribunal as soon as possible. Serbia “actively searching for remaining Hague fugitive” Ljajic has assessed that “regardless of whether Hadzic will be in The Hague by the end of the year or not, getting the EU candidate status is more than certain”. He said that it would be “best and most productive” both for Hadzic and his family “to voluntarily surrender himself”. “In that case he would be able to use everything provided by legal regulations and his family would get help intended for indictees who surrender themselves voluntarily,” the Serbian government's National Council for Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal president pointed out.
