Serbian parliament speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic was received on Saturday by Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi. Tanjug news agency reports that Gaddafi pointed out that the friendship between Serbia and Libya is eternal and that it will continue to strengthen. Serbian speaker received by Gaddafi Gaddafi organized a dinner party in honor of the Serbian parliament speaker, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and French parliament delegation, who are also on a visit to Libya, said Djukic-Dejanovic's cabinet in a statement. The Serbian parliament official thanked Gaddafi for the hospitality, which shows the deep friendship between the two countries which is based on the principles of mutual respect. Immediately upon her arrival to Tripoli, Djukic-Dejanovic conferred with her Libyan counterpart Muhammad Abu-al-Kasim Zway on a mutual goal for the traditionally good relations to develop in all areas. Djukic-Dejanovic invited her counterpart to visit Serbia in 2011, so as to raise the Serbia-Libya parliamentary cooperation to a higher level, the statement reads.
