Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic will pay a one-day visit to Italy, according to the foreign ministry. Jeremic would be meeting with his Italian counterpart Franco Frattini. FM to meet with Italian counterpart The two ministers are expected to talk about the next steps in the process of Serbia's EU integration and other bilateral issues regarding Serbia and Italy, the ministry press release stated. The ministers would also discuss the summit of the Serbian and Italian governments that is scheduled to be held in Belgrade in mid-October in Belgrade, the ministry added. Jeremic stated that Belgrade showed determination for continuing along the path of EU integrations in a “fairly unambiguous, concrete way”. “I hope that the EU will soon make similar gestures and I don’t believe that it is in anybody’s interest for something like that to be missing,” he said.
