Voting is under way in the early local elections in the town of Negotin, eastern Serbia. Nine parties are competing for seats in the local assembly, among them the Progressives (SNS), SPS and DS-led coalitions, the Radicals (SRS), and the Liberal-Democrats (LDP). Early local elections in eastern town 42,901 people are registered to vote, and will have 72 polling stations at their disposal today, reports from the town said.
