Serbian police (MUP) have four persons under arrest today on suspicion that they stole RSD 65mn from the Share Fund and small shareholders. The fraud case relates to the privatization of Betonjerka AD company from Sombor, northern Serbia. Four detain for defrauding Share Fund Those arrested have been indentified as Betonjerka's director, Milan Brankov, Intereskport owner Slavisa Puric, and that company's general and financial directors, Radomir Jokic and Snezana Tanaskovic. They are suspected of incurring damages of some EUR 690,000 from 2007 until 2009, by issuing forged documents during the privatization of the company. Police Director Milorad Veljovic confirmed the arrests and said his officers acted in cooperation with the District Prosecution in Belgrade.

Four detain for defrauding Share Fund

Those arrested have been indentified as Betonjerka's director, Milan Brankov, Intereskport owner Slaviša Purić, and that company's general and financial directors, Radomir Jokić and Snežana Tanasković.

They are suspected of incurring damages of some EUR 690,000 from 2007 until 2009, by issuing forged documents during the privatization of the company.

Police Director Milorad Veljović confirmed the arrests and said his officers acted in cooperation with the District Prosecution in Belgrade.
