Four companies bid for Belgrade Fair

“We  are cooperating with the Ministry of Economy and the Privatization Agency to find the most appropriate privatization model which will allow the Belgrade Fair to become the center of the exhibition industry in South Eastern Europe.”

Director of Reed Exhibitions Matthias Limbeck said that his company plans to invest in modernizing the infrastructure. “We hope to put the  Belgrade Fair in the centre of the region by organizing professional fairs in order to bond Belgrade with other cities”.

The Privatization Agency announced the sale of 70 percent of the Belgrade Fair’s equity last November. The Belgrade Fair owns halls collectively providing 106,000 square meters of exhibition space. Its overall revenue in 2006 stood at 12 million euros, and its expenditure at 10.9 million.
