Ex-Bosnian Army commander Hamdija Delalić says a video showing him ordering his subordinates to commit crimes is doctored.

He added he will not explain himself as that would be construed as defense, while he felt he had no reason for that.“This is probably about unit training. The part that relates to me personally is when I motivate troops for combat. I used the words that are the norm in such situations, that enemy is the target and that we need to inflict as much damage as possible when it comes to the enemy’s equipment and manpower. I am aware of the Geneva conventions and what they contain. There is no chance that a unit under my command ever committed a crime”, Delalić concluded and added he was in full control over his troops.
