Serbia is making progress in fulfilling requirements from the Road Map drawn up last May, but work is not yet finished, says Slovenian Ambassador Miroslav Luci. Luci told daily Danas that the EU would have to make a decision about scrapping visa requirements by the end of that process, which would probably take several months. “Schengen work still to be done” “The liberalization process is tied to contents, and not to deadlines, because setting deadlines is not productive,” said the ambassador, asked when Serbia would be able to join the Schengen white list. He stated that the EU’s Road Map for visa liberalization had set out very clear conditions for scrapping visa requirements for citizens of West Balkan countries.
