Bigovic added that the judiciary workers had decided to help Nebojsa Vukomanovic by each setting aside one day’s wages. Vukomanovic was seriously injured after being struck by a bullet during clashes between the international forces and Serbs in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica eight days ago. “We’ve all decided to set aside one day’s wages to help Vukomanovic. Also, today a delegation of judiciary workers will visit the injured at Kosovska Mitrovica Health Center,” he explained. During the clashes, that followed the arrest of Serbs in the courthouse, one Ukrainian police officer was killed and around 150 civilians, international soldiers and judiciary workers were injured. Bigovic said that the judiciary workers would continue their daily protests until their demands to return to their workplaces were met. UNMIK representatives yesterday announced that they were prepared to hear the judiciary workers out.
