Islamists confront Serb woman for wearing cross

They approached her and demanded that she removed the Orthodox cross necklace, and at one point even attempted to rip it off her neck themselves, saying, "Remove that, you must convert to Islam," before the bus driver intervened to help her.

"I've always had great respect toward all religions, but after what happened I have a critical stance towards Islam," Daniela N., who came to Austria with her family as a refugee, was quoted as saying.

She also said she had "great understanding for asylum seekers from Syria and other Middle Eastern countries," but that she was "noticing problems":

"Many refugees from Islamic countries are bringing their culture to Austria. We should be careful not to be flooded with fundamentalists."

Daniela N. also revealed that she was afraid she might be assaulted again, and was now going to town only in the company of her boyfriend and friends.
