The projects are aimed at repairing the damage caused by the May floods at critical locations on the water regions of the lower Danube, Sava and Morava rivers, which fall under the jurisdiction of the public enterprise JVP Srbijavode at precisely defined sectors.

These are: on the river Kolubara in Valjevo; on the rivers Jadar, Ostružanka and Lovačka Reka in Osečina; on the rivers Čađavica, Krzava, Bogostica and Likodra in Krupanj; on the river Jadar in Loznica; on the river Čemernica in Čačak, and on the river Despotovica in Gornji Milanovac.

In order to provide transparency and control of way the funds are spent, the Serbian and Japanese government agreed that Serbia should open a bank account dedicated solely to this donation.
