B92 learned unofficially that one of the reasons for this visit is Serbia's intention to buy MiG-35 warplanes from Russia.

Rogozin was welcomed by Serbia's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, with whom he co-chairs the committee.

He on Sunday visited the Special Brigade if the Serbian Army (VS), based in Pancevo, and the Military Museum at Kalemegdan, the defense ministry said.

Accompanied by State Secretaries at the Defense Ministry Zoran Djordjevic, Nenad Neric and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Gen. Ljubisa Dikovic, Rogozin toured the Special Brigade in Pancevo.

Earlier on Sunday, Rogozin toured the Military Museum at Kalemegdan together with Serbian Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic.
