PM criticizes provincial govt. reshuffle

A coalition led by the Democratic Party (DS) is in power in Vojvodina - where Vučić's Progressives (SRS), ruling on the state level, are in opposition.

"These were the most interesting details of the Serbian political scene, to see together, in the same formation, Čanak, Šešelj, Karić and Pajtic - a pretty picture," Vučić told reporters at the Belgrade airport on Tuesday.

The SNS is not nervous, said the prime minister, and wondered "what message was actually sent" to the citizens in Vojvodina.

"Who has been brought to join the government and who are these experts and what are they going to bring us?," asked Vučić, expressing at the same time his "expectation that citizens understand what this is about."

"It will very soon be seen in elections what kind of results they will have," Vučić said of his political opponents.

While speaking to reporters today, he also confirmed he will on Wednesday speak on the phone with Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin about the Serbian gas debt.
