A spokeswoman for the ruling Democrats (DS) rejected on Tuesday media speculations that German FM Guido Westerwelle is coming to Belgrade with an offer. That offer, said reports, was accelerated EU integration in exchange for a softer Serbian UN General Assembly resolution on Kosovo. Democrats: Serbia isn't blackmailed “We are partners who discuss common interests on a common path. Neither is Serbia being blackmailed, nor is Serbia ready to bargain its own interests,” Jelena Trivan told Tanjug in Belgrade. Trivan is convinced that formal talks with the German minister will focus on what both sides need to do to speed up Serbia's EU accession and make its relations with all countries better and more relaxed. Trivan said that “the way the visit of the German foreign minister is interpreted is indicative of either ignorance or bad intentions". The media have speculated that Westerwelle is coming to Belgrade on Thursday on behalf of the EU to make the last offer in terms of Serbia's resolution, or, as it has been unofficially announced, the offer of the Quint states - speedier Euro integration for a softer resolution on Kosovo.
