The Serbian parliament elected members to the first formation of the High Judiciary Council and the State Council of Prosecutors. These two new bodies that wills secure and guarantee the independence of the courts and prosecution will have 11 members each. New court institutions in Serbia Selected to join the Hugh Judiciary Council were Supreme Court Judge Jelena Borovac, Belgrade Commercial Court Judge Mladen Nikolic, Belgrade District Court Judge Vucko Mircic, Novi Sad District Court Judge Djurdjina Bjelobaba and Krusevac District Court Judge Biljana Toskovic. Deputy State Public Prosecutor Djordje Ostojic, War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic, Deputy District Public Prosecutor in Belgrade Sasa Ivanic, Deputy District Public Prosecutor in Novi Sad Ivana Letica-Pavic, Deputy Public Prosecutor in Novi Varos Ljubisa Dragasevic and Deputy Municipal Public Prosecutor in Kragujevac Nebojsa Cirjakovic along with Belgrade Law University professor Milan Skulic. The justice minister and president of the Serbian Parliamentary Council for Courts And Administration are both members of both institutions as well. The Supreme Court president is in the High Council and the state public prosecutor is in the State Council.

Deputy State Public Prosecutor Đorđe Ostojić, War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukčević, Deputy District Public Prosecutor in Belgrade Saša Ivanić, Deputy District Public Prosecutor in Novi Sad Ivana Letica-Pavić, Deputy Public Prosecutor in Novi Varoš Ljubiša Dragašević and Deputy Municipal Public Prosecutor in Kragujevac Nebojša Ćirjaković along with Belgrade Law University professor Milan Škulić.
