The National Bank of Serbia hard currency reserves have last month reached a record high of some EUR 10bn. The central bank announced that the figure, that corresponds to close to USD 14.2bn, increased in September by around EUR 10.7mn. Central bank announces record hard currency reserves The official mean exchange rate of the dinar (RSD) against the euro (EUR) in September nominally appreciated 1.3 percent, ranging from RSD 78.1896 (Sept. 26) to 79.9571 (Sept. 4), for one euro. The increase in the country's hard currency reserves was mostly due to inflow based on net purchase of effective hard currency to the amount of EUR 59.8mn.

The official mean exchange rate of the dinar (RSD) against the euro (EUR) in September nominally appreciated 1.3 percent, ranging from RSD 78.1896 (Sept. 26) to 79.9571 (Sept. 4), for one euro.

The increase in the country's hard currency reserves was mostly due to inflow based on net purchase of effective hard currency to the amount of EUR 59.8mn.
