Seselj: Djindjic killer merits same glory as Princip The First Instance court in Belgrade sentenced Jovanovic to 40 years in prison for the Djindjic’s murder. Seselj stands accused of crimes against the non-Serb population in Croatia, Vojvodina and Bosnia-Hercegovina between 1991 and 1993. The defendant suggested that Alic had lied when claiming that Jovanovic had been one of four Serb paramilitaries that he had interrogated as deputy police chief in Zvornik after their arrest in early April 1992, a day before Serb forces attacked the town.
