The Serbian dinar (RSD) lost another 0.1 percent of its value against the euro (EUR) on Monday.

Serbian currency lost 2.3 pct against euro y-o-y

The national currency is down by 0.4 percent against the eurozone currency compared to a month ago and by 2.3 percent year-on-year.

The dinar has lost 1.3 percent against the euro since the beginning of the year, Tanjug reported, adding that the dinar-to-dollar indicative exchange rate rose by 1.4 percent to RSD 108.8032 on Friday.

The dinar dropped by 1.0 percent against the U.S. currency compared to a month ago and by 1.3 percent compared to a year ago, rising by 2.2 percent since the beginning of the year.

The central bank has sold EUR 780 million and purchased EUR 20 million since the beginning of the year to curb excessive exchange rate fluctuations.
