BELGRADE The Serbian dinar will drop by 0.3 percent Wednesday, setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 118.5736, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has released On Tuesday, NBS sold EUR 15mn on the inter-bank foreign exchange market so as to prevent excessive daily oscillation of the exchange rate. According to the Wednesday exchange rate, the dinar will be only 11 paras above its historical record low of EUR 118.6892 which was recorded on July 27. On the monthly level, the dinar will drop by 2.5 percent on Wednesday, while the drop on the annual level would total 14 percent. The indicative exchange rate of the dinar against the U.S. dollar totaled RSD 95.4315 on Tuesday and it remained unchanged relative to its previous value. Serbian dinar drops by 0.3 percent

Since the beginning of the year, the central bank sold EUR 1.347.5mn.

According to the Wednesday exchange rate, the dinar will be only 11 paras above its historical record low of EUR 118.6892 which was recorded on July 27.

On the monthly level, the dinar will drop by 2.5 percent on Wednesday, while the drop on the annual level would total 14 percent.

The indicative exchange rate of the dinar against the U.S. dollar totaled RSD 95.4315 on Tuesday and it remained unchanged relative to its previous value.

The Serbian currency dropped by 2.2 percent compared to its value a month ago, while the drop totaled 25.4 percent relative to the previous year.
