Domestic currency continues to strengthen

After a short stagnation, the dinar continued to strengthen against the euro on Wednesday, with one euro worth RSD 104.5592 today.

After a short stagnation, the dinar continued to strengthen against the euro on Wednesday, with one euro worth RSD 104.5592 today. The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) stated that no interventions on the foreign currency market were made on Tuesday. Domestic currency continues to strengthen Since the beginning of the year, the NBS has sold EUR 1.755bn, and for the first time after almost two years, bought EUR 1mn early in this month to ease the excessive daily volatility. The domestic currency hit its highest value this year on January 4, when one euro was worth RSD 95.9679, while its low was hit on August 3, when one euro was worth RSD 106.6367.
